The Willie & Vivian Gaddis Foundation believes in and encourages entrepreneurship.
Willie Lee Gaddis, Montrose, MS, picked cotton as a child with his parents and sister. They were sharecroppers. As a child, he purposed in his heart to own his own business. In 1971, armed with just an 8th-grade education, he and his wife, who completed one quarter at Franklin University, founded Gaddis & Son, Incorporated. The rest is history.
“My colleagues and I at The National Skilled Trades Network (NSTN), who, in collaboration with the City of Refuge Goodlife Foundation at First Church of God, preach and teach this lesson: Education is for everyone! College degrees are needed; however, far too many people have often been misguided into thinking that one to go to college to make a decent living.”
Randal L. Gaddis, Owner, Gaddis & Son, Inc.
National Skilled Trades Network (NSTN)
The National Skilled Trades Network (NSTN) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded in 2002 by a group of small business owners in the skilled trades industry.
With the vision of the founders to address the lack of youth and young adults entering the lucrative construction skilled trades industry. After much time and research NSTN decided to develop an accredited construction trades training program with national industry credentials.
